Good horror/thriller book suggestions?

Contributor: Zombirella Zombirella
Hello! I'm looking for some new books I can put on my kindle. It's been awhile since I've read and I don't really keep up with what's new and worth reading.
Does anyone have some suggestions of good horror books? I like zombies of course, slasher/serial killer, paranormal/supernatura l, psycho *crazy people, think Norman Bate*, things that keep you on edge. Any suggestions are appreciate and thank you in advance!

Maybe not pure horror/thriller, but almost a funny horror maybe somewhat of an explanation, nonetheless a book I couldn't put down and have read quite a few times since it started as a web story and then developed into a published book is "John Dies at the End" and just this last year a sequel was published called "This Book is Full of Spiders"

Haven't read a good horror book for awhile, Poe, King, Lovecraft were always good, lately have been reading some of Haggard's Allan Quatermain series, recently read the Hunger Games trilogy which was good, and currently reading The Sword of Truth series which I've been enjoying.
