Here's an exciting article we should discuss, indeed. Apparently, the toughest macho men produce bad sperm and some guys will ejaculate more if they are really attracted to the partner. Read 5 Interesting facts about sperm and share what you think.
Gentlemen, do you really control the amount of your seed depending on how attractive the lady is?

Wow, I found that article to be kind of depressing. According to the "Manlier Males Have Lower Quality Sperm" section of the article, "...males can also face trade-offs between producing sperm and other characteristics useful for reproduction. For example, species in which males invest more in big bodies and horns, or deep voices have been shown to produce less sperm."
While the article that is cited is linked to a study of Howler monkeys and their voice tracts, I can't help but think that there MIGHT be some carry over into human males. The link in the following paragraph confirms this (I only read the abstract). I didn't bother reading how the test was conducted but I wonder how they accounted for their samples. There is a fair amount to consider. The male participants medical history, family history, their medical state, when the last time they ejaculated, diet, job, etc...
Personally, I would have found it interesting to find out what is considered lower quality sperm. Without diving into a study, it would have been nice to see what qualifies a man for having lower quality sperm. Is it size of sperm, number of sperm, quantity of sperm, it is the number of malformed sperm per ejaculation, etc.
I also would have found value if they had addressed the question, "Do men ejaculate faster with women they view as really attractive vs average vs not attractive?" Also, what would this info mean for their partners?
*Sigh* More questions than answers...

I don't remember where I saw it, but a sexual/human attraction documentary said, " guys that haven't seen their "SO" in a while, ejaculated more, because subconsciously their bodies were making sure their "genes" were past on if the girl was with someone else. It's was pretty interesting, it showed some of the reasons why we are attracted are geneticly ingrained and we don't even know we are doing it.

Dear Inquisitor, I really can't see a reason to be depressed over this article. Sure, the study is controversial and OF COURSE there is a carry over human males, but it can help women understand their male partners better. On a physical level.

Based on the knowledge I possess, lower quality sperm is a seed with a lower ability to fertilize a female egg.
About the question you've mentioned - that one would really be provocative and probably wouldn't be accepted positively by the public, but most certainly would not be fair, because, IMHO, the amount of ejaculated sperm will depend not on the level of attractiveness, but on the lady's skills in bed. The man can be less attracted to the woman, but she may arouse and please him much more successfully, than an attractive damsel. Don't you agree?

Dear Unfulfilled, I can guarantee that we could find a study like that in a glimpse - it only seems logical, when a man is attracted to a woman, he will be more aroused, therefore, will ejaculate faster.

That's an encouraging fact - it means that our bodies can miss our beloved, too! Seems incredibly sweet to me.

I (OH) can say that the more excited I am, the more ejaculate comes out. The excitement can in different forms/combinations of sexual activity. Erotic zones whether physical or mental play a big part in my brain.
And sometimes it happens fast and sometimes it doesn't. And I would consider OW to be very attractive. Often I can get aroused by just watching her move around.
And in my dating phase I did not notice any difference in amount of semen. Of course I always chased attractive cute girls. And I do believe beauty is in the eyes of the beholder.
My 4 bits of my experiences.

I always chased what I considered" attractive cute" girls.
Sometimes I put my foot in my mouth. Pls forgive me.

I would say it is mostly psychological. The mind controls the body and functions. The more excited she is the more I am. So I guess the latter contributes a lot to it.

As for whether the attractiveness of a gal adding to the amount of "seed" I try to let them all "escape" when they have the opportunity. The more that come out the better. Then body will create more. That, I understand help longevity in both sex life and regular.
And I sleep much better when all them little critter escape.

Wow what a topic!!!
I would like to say OH is pretty much right on the subject. It really depends on the woman also I may add , how aroused she gets me , if she's really into it ,
Beauty is not everything, if a woman just lays there with her legs wide open and doesn't say anything or show any expressions like she really want it then that can have something to do with it also.
I met a woman a while back , she was not Miss America but she sure knew how to turn me on, She could make me ejaculate 3 times in an hour.

Interesting. I dated a chemist (don't know if that has anything to do with this but he always did look at things in a scientific way) many years ago, who actually told me that he ejaculated differently when we slept together, like he felt as if it was shooting out as in a way to impregnate me.

Maybe, that's the deal then? Men ejaculate more, if they are sure they want to procreate with a certain female? That makes some scientific sense.

The length and amount of foreplay/anticipation also play a big role. And of course plenty of sleep and fluids.
