Dubstep is the latest addition to my eclectic music tastes, thanks to stainedclear. I love certain songs from most any genre and really hate certain songs from the the same.

Some of my favorites come from genres not listed above, two of the most notable are Classical and Blues.

The radio station I listen to likes to call themselves "eclectic" and it pretty much encompasses my favorite bands. I like a lot of different music though. Just not country.

While there are country songs I really like, Country music is the least represented in my eclecticism.

rock, pop, tv theme songs, weird al, songs about video games (Kirby Krackle). Most of my music is from before the 90's. Country has never been my thing, maybe it's too slow, maybe it's the material, but with a few exceptions (dixie chicks, gimme three steps, Charlie daniel's band) I could never get into it.

Rock(Classic, some alternative, and some prog), metal(Of all forms, especially black metal), -some- techno and electronica. Oh and my odd obsession with disco music. I can not stand rap or country. Rap for the music generally not the lyrics(Though some are just plain awful), country because I cannot stand their general singing style. I do partake in some country/rock hybrid bands from time to time.

I think in terms of bands/performers than genres since I like different things. I like Amanda Palmer/Dresden Dolls, Metallica, older rock, Modest Mouse, Adele, etc.

Honestly though, the 'other' option is fine. If you had to list all genres, you'd still be typing up your opening post!

I'm personally really into Drum'n'Bass, most styles of dubstep, breakbeat, almost any kind of metal, reggae and old school hip hop. I listen extremely varied though. I like to keep a wide spectrum of sounds going on for when I'm in the studio myself. :p Keeps you inspired!

Wasn't completely certain of what options to click, but I went with Other, Rock, and Electronica.

I really love Fever Ray/The Knife, Cocorosie, Trentemoller, The Diablo Swing Orchestra, Lily Allen, Bjork... (nerdy game soundtracks...)

Between my parents I ended up pretty eclectic, so I appreciate just about everything from folk to the occasional misogynistic rap music. Honestly though, I could really do without the majority of rap, country, and screamo music out there. Mostly country.

I like many different types, I love light rock and indie music. Death cab for cutie, regina spektor, silversun pickups, and many many more. I do listen to alot of birthday massacre and other types of metal too and electronica. new age stuff like enya and zen music with yoga routines. I listen to jazz and the blues. I just flat out dislike country though.

Country and Classic Rock are usually the only types I listen to. I was born in the wrong time, I would have loved to have been a teenager in the 80s instead of a kid. To me the 70s and 80s were the BEST times for REAL GOOD rock music.
