The fantastic documentary W/we have just watched with my OnlyMaster (called "Injun", about how Native Americans have been depicted in Hollywood over the decades of movie making) just added to my idea I have been having for quite a while already, to post a thread here wondering: so, are there people out there who still have no idea about the genocide of the Native American people, that it existed, how it went, in the United States too (and not only in Central and South America!), and how it is still going on in these days?

I learned quite a bit about it in my women's studies class and through independent research. They certainly don't teach this stuff in public schools.
