I have no idea of why this thought crossed my mind this morn, I'm not even awake yet. Gas here is 3.58 a gallon for regular. Whats the price where you are?

In the Chicago 'Burbs, it's about $4.50. It's even more expensive in the city, they have more taxes than the burbs do. We have the highest gas prices in the country.
I haven't left the house in days. *sigh*
And the oil companies continue to make record profits, take their "subsidies" (meaning they get PAID to take money from us) there is no shortage, no problems, just the big oil conglomerates not being regulated and doing whatever they want.

I just wanted to second your last paragraph - it is incredibly frustrating.

Shoot! What I wouldn't give to pay $3.58/gal. I live in Alaska and depending on where in the state you are getting gas, it can range from $4.40/gal - $15/gal.
