Are you still best friends with your childhood bestie?

Are you still best friends with your childhood best friend? If so, how often do you talk/see each other? Are you as close as you once were or is it more that you stay in touch because of how close you one were?

No, I actually had a friend who I was best friends with since I was 3 and she was 2, up until I was 23, when she stopped talking to me because she decided to stay friends with my ex-husband instead, who she'd only known for the 6 years he and I were together

But I have MUCH better besties than her anyway

I am still friends with 2 of my three bestest friends from school. We talk a few times a year, but I know if I ever needed them they would be right there for me. Same here.

I have known my best friend since I was 4 years old. I will be her maid of honor at her wedding next year. We talk a few times a week and see each other a couple times a month. She is more like a sister than a friend. My mother introduces her to people as "my other daughter."

We lost touch over the years. My wife is my best friend. I think being married and having a family changes relationships and these days it is tough enough just to find time for your family.

Not best friends anymore, but we found each other again on Facebook (my family kept moving, so we had lost touch). She was the evil one, I was the angel - she tried to get me my first kiss at age ten by shoving me into a closet with another guy (nothing happened). She's mellowed since then ... her recent hobby is popping babies with her husband of ten years, so it's all good.

Not any more, though I have been super-tight for ten years with the first person I was ever in love with.

Definitely! I consider her a sister. I've known her since I was 10 months old. Our mothers have been friends since they were in the 5th grade themselves. They had us 5 months apart so since we're so close in age, we grew up to be best friends.

I've lost contact with pretty much everyone from my past except two people actually.
My best friend growing up was one of my classmates named Mabel, we lost touch when I moved out of town unfortunately. I think I was about eight then, but until high school I never really made any more close friends like that again.

No, we're not very close anymore and we barely talk.

Yes! We have been friends since we were two. We have stayed in touch and seen each other at least monthly through all of life's changes. We talk at least once a week and see each other a few times a month. It's nice because she's now settled down with a man who she lives with, who also has children, so we're kind of back on the same page in life and it's more convenient for us to spend time together now than it has been at other points in our lives.

I still keep in touch with my childhood friend. We are separated by several states now, but we talk several times a year.

Nope. I'm not even still friends with anyone I knew in high school!
