Local GYN treated a gal for a raging UTI, and later a vaginal infection (don't know if it was yeast), couple weeks later...she is back, same two infections.
GYN doc asks her about hygiene and intimate behavior issues, then notices her jeans (without undies)on the chair in the exam room. GYN asks her if she tends to not wear underwear, and gets a "yes" response. She then asks the patient how often she washes her jeans (they didn't look pristine). She was told, "every couple weeks". BINGO. Instant infection breeding ground.
If YOU are one of those "commando" woman (apparently it is NOT such a risk for guys...no direct mucus membrane contact), do you wash your Jeans or other pants FREQUENTLY, to avoid such issues? (Also does not matter is you are wearing a skirt or dress..since that is a "no contact" article of cloths.
