On my laptop, everytime i go on a website.. i get these dumb flashy pop-ups that tell me about free stuff and blah blah blah! Sometimes i'm actually dumb enough to read them. LOL

Do you get pop-ups? if so, what do you do?

Get a utility...usually antivirus, with POP UP BLOCKER. McKafee or Norton have GREAT pop up blocks.

Firefox with AdBlock plus works great for me. Also Avast antivirus is free and awesomely helps protect from the nasty things those popups could give you if you try to close them.

I have my firewall set pretty high, and I have Ad Blocker. I think. So no pop ups, except the crap on the sides of some pages, but those are from the sites I go to. I hate the flashing ones, because they trigger my migraines.
