My boyfriend cannot cook at all, even ravioli in the microwave is a task he fails at. I don't hate that he can't cook and doesn't care to learn but it would really help out or be nice to come home to a meal already made. In some ways I like being the only one that cooks, because I enjoy cooking and enjoy the complements he gives me, and most of all I love catering to him. I put love into all my meals and I want him to feel loved and enjoy himself. But like I said if he knew how to cook it would be great. My friend fiancé can cook, really good like top chef good and I know it makes her feel like a queen.
How do you feel about your significant other cooking?

My husband knows how to cook, but the only thing I let him cook is eggs; he has a history of killing my fry pans, and making an awful mess in the kitchen...drives me insane!

She's an excellent cook, much better than me!

C is a great cook - and he knows how to use a cast iron pan and I don't.

I prefer my S/O cooking.

She's a great cook and baker.

My boyfriend works as a cook so he's pretty good. I mainly just microwave stuff myself.

my boyfriend has certain things that he is great at...like steak. I don't care if someone can cook or not, as long as they don't consider it my place. A woman's place is not in the kitchen.

We'll just say she's probably better at it than I am. LOL

My boyfriend is a great cook. We make most meals together, since he is better with cooking meats. My specialties are pastas and side dishes. We make a great team!

My fiance is a great cook but I tend to be a control freak in the kitchen and when I ask him to make dinner, I end up taking over and finishing just because he's not doing it the same way I do. He still makes great meals, I just have issues

My hubby is a great cook when he decides to be one!! I enjoy when he cooks breakfast or dinner for us--gives me a break!!
k.cat--why not join up for a couples cooking class or group? It could teach you partner how to cook and be fun for both of you!!

I love it! But he does not do spicy we each cook drastically different things so we work well.

My boyfriend has spent several years working with food, so he's learned a lot about how to properly prepare it. He's an amazing cook.
I, on the other hand, am an awful cook.

He is a good enough cook. He doesn't burn things or make us sick from his cooking but he prefers that I do the bulk of the cooking, which I don't mind. He is a great helper though and always willing to jump in there with me.

She's a decent cook, but she doesn't like to cook. Since she does like doing dishes, and I like to cook, it works out

One of my male partners is a great cook, the other can cook out of a box. I am a pretty good cook, but I absolutely hate doing it. I do it on occasions as a treat for my other partners.

In 90% of my relationships, I can cook and the male either can't or just doesn't. That being said, I had a bf who liked to grill a lot, and I thought I was in heaven. LOL

if a man cant use a grill he doesnt deserve to call himself a man, but i love that my woman can and will cook

I cook the large majority of the time, it's a passion for me! I really love and appreciate when my partner cooks, but he's horrible at it. Really horrible. Well... he can make very simple things like sauteed veggies or eggs, and he's good at frying, but god if I ever asked him to make something from scratch... no way hahahahah. I wish he'd learn how to cook better but he's really ditzy.
