Tell me about your favorite state and why it is your favorite. Me personally I have a bit of trouble deciding o n which one is my favorite. I love New York because I love New York City. It has everything I could ever want and it is so big I could spend a lifetime exploring it so it is likely my favorite. But I also like Texas, Hawaii, and Florida. All of those because of the warmth and of course the sites to see in them as well.
Favorite state.

So far, my favorite state that I've been to is Florida.

Washington! Where else can you have the ocean, a rainforest, mountains, desert, and an abundance of lakes and rivers...all within 300 miles of each other?

It seems we have a lot of people who like Florida and California.

New York is currently my favorite state, second the Pennsylvania, then Massachusetts. I scale this on the architecture I like to shoot. All of the best high gothic architecture was in Mass, but it's all been demolished. so now I travel to NY on my weekends. Even if I'm not shooting, there's something to do around every corner in NY and PA.

I agree with that totally. There is always something to do in NY and PA. I miss the east coast so much,

I am from Massachusetts and love my state. I also like New York City because there is so much to do there. I also enjoy Florida as well. I live in Ohio now it was good when I first moved up here but now I can't stand it and not much to do and on top of that I don't want to know anyone and don't really know anyone here.

Alaska. I've only been once, for a couple of weeks. I really want to go back, probably several more times, because I feel I've just scratched the surface — but what I've seen so far is spectacular.
In the lower 48, I'd have to go with Colorado. So many great mountains and again, I've seen only a handful so far. I really want to see more of California and Washington, too.
I also love North Carolina. I went to college there, and played A LOT (climbing, hiking, backpacking, etc) in the mountains there. The beaches are nice, too. Calabash has the best seafood in the entire world.

California for me too! I actually lived in Yosemite for almost 5 years while working there. Joshua Tree National Monument is also great to wake up to first thing in the morning as well. I like the wide open natural beauty of nature and the diverse nature of the state, so much to offer and experience.

I love California for the scenery and weather. Diverse terrain/landscape.
But I also Love Hawaii, though I've never been.
CO, WY and UT are pretty special too.

Oh Seattle, Not sure I forgot that one we go there at least once a year it is a wonderful place and so much to see. Pike Market is a blast every time. Took the Kids up the space needle for the first time last year. They had just turned four when we went last year so we figured it was time they would enjoy it.

It is interesting to see a different perspective from someone out side of the state. I personally would love to get out of here. I just don't like the rain and cold and it seems like we get more then our fair share of both though I guess we do get good weather as well so I can't completely complain about it either.

Seattle???!!!!! The people of Seattle have, and still are polluting the entire Puget Sound. Weekly sewage leaks/spills are reported in the sound. The lakes within the city and King County are also polluted. The Seattle citizens talk the talk, but they can't walk the walk. While the skyline might be beautiful to city folks, the overall health of the city's environment is embarrassing, to say the least! This city is an embarrassment to our state both politically and environmentally.
