I'm so glad there was an all of them choice.

The third and sixth were my faves. Phantom Menace just didn't make sense (logically, not literally).
"He's going to bring balance to the Force." Um Qui-Gon, do a quick head count Jedi vs. Sith and find the logic there.

I haven't seen the newer ones, but I watch the old ones once every few years. I like them, but I don't think I like them as much as most people do.

I'm so glad you put a choice for all of them! Although, I have to say I like the original trilogy better than the prequels. BUT, I'm a die-hard Star Wars fan, met my ex-husband playing Star Wars Galaxies Online. So yeah, I love ALL of them

I enjoy all of them, but I had to go with A New Hope. When I was younger, it was Empire Strikes Back, but Luke is just soooo whiny. Revenge of the Sith is very good too.

None of the above
05/04/2011
I went with All of them! but in my heart of hearts, I'll always know I should have said Return of the Jedi XD

The Empire Strikes Back closely followed by A New Hope.

I much prefer Star Trek . But, I like Star Wars, and my favorite is the original.

I was going to say all of them, but like a lot of people was not a big fan of Phantom Menace. It was okay, but definitely the worst of the 6. I like the original trilogy over the prequels, and while I think that story and cinematography-wise Empire is a better film, I have a soft spot in my heart for A New Hope. My favorite score though is Return of the Jedi, especially the battle in the throne room. Attack of the Clones was a good film that definitely got us back towards the feel of the original trilogy (and I nearly had an orgasm when Yoda ignited his lightsaber and fought Dooku). Revenge of the Sith had great action and by far the best lightsaber battles. Great topic.

Attack of the Clones was the only movie I've ever walked out on. It was horrible.
I voted Empire Strikes Back as my fave.
I do have to say I find it hard to watch any of the original three movies anymore without having them tainted my the Family Guy parodies of them.

Yeah, if you cut out all the Anakin/Padme bad acting and just focus on Ewen's Obi-Wan, it's a LOT better.

Ep's 1-3 had some really bad scripting and direction. Obi-wan was the highlight of them, me thinks.

I heard George Lucas give an interview a few years ago and he said nowadays that no one cares about the story, so the FX and CGI are the most important parts of a movie. It is obvious he feels this way, because the last few movies he's done have been heavy on CGI and light on story, character development, etc.

I'd vote "all of them" but I despise Jar Jar.

I can see that. It makes me sad though. Characters and story should be paramount when making a movie.

Good thing he made his money on merchandising and licensing huh?

Shame on me.
Shame on me.

I voted for Episode IV with Empire Strikes Back a close second. Unfortunately, they went down hill from there for me. Return of the Jedi felt like a Muppet reunion more than a Star Wars sequel. Why they changed the storyline from Wookies to Ewoks boggles my mind.

The Empire Strikes back!

I watched the first one with my Dad as a kid so it's kind of special to me.

All of them!

Lucas thought Ewoks would attract for kids. He was right, but at what cost? AT WHAT COST?
