I routinely call my wife and both of my daughters babe, hon, love, brilliant and beautiful, or sweetheart. My wife does the same. This often results in a dialogue like this:
Caller: Babe.....
3 responders: Yes?......

Always good for a laugh at the house.

I use "lady" a lot too, but not when addressing someone directly (i.e., no "Hey lady!")

My Man calls me "Woman" most of the time. If we're really into it, he may throw in a more spicy term.

I call women "women" or "chicks" most of the time. It used to upset me when people called any female person over the age of 10 a "girl" but I have found better use of my time than to get "offended" by things like this.

Once in a while My Man uses the word "broad" which just makes me laugh. Sounds like something out of a 1940s Private Eye movie.

I frequently refer to my best friends as "beautiful" just because it's random and makes them smile.

I usually just say girl, woman, or chick. I like some of the others, but those are the ones I actually use.
