I recently got some caramel apples with peanut pieces and mini chocolate chips. They call them "turtle caramel apples." SOOOO delicious.

It's very very sad. I have too much dental work to eat anything sticky, especially caramel, without yanking out a crown or filling or bridge, so no nummy apples for me. But, caramel if I got to pick.

Silly as it may sound, I not only like the good old caramel apple with peanuts, but prefer the cheap ones from the grocery store...that come in the three pack,verses the premium apples (up to $18 each)...from the upscale candy shops.

Cannot put my finger on why, but those little store bought apples...WHEN FRESH, are my absolute seasonal favorites. They are just harder and harder to find (very short shelf life, so many stores don't want to carry them and end up tossing out so much supply).
