My grandma was crazy about Annabel! Personally I love the humor in A Christmas Story!

I couldn't pick just one christmas movie. We watch so many every year. I'm not happy if I don't see A Christmas Carol and Miracle on 34th Street (I love the black and white versions best) but Hubby loves A Christmas Story and as a family we all sit down to watch Dr. Seuss's Grinch and so many of the older cartoons.

"The Muppet Christmas Carol". Honestly, Christmas is my least favorite holiday, but this one always makes me smile... and actually makes me wish that I didn't hate Christmas, and gives me hope that I could learn to like it again.

polar express. i also love a christams story, too, but polar express is my favorite.

A Christmas Story (Mrs. Peg)...ELF (Mr. Peg)

Miracle on 34th street...indeed. The ORIGINAL version is STILL the best, by far.

1) It's a Wonderful Life
2) Christmas Story
3) Christmas in Connecticut
I have to see all in order for it to be Christmas. Christmas in Connecticut is a hilarious movie that a lot of people don't know about. We watch it every year, as we have all these on DVD.

I love the Muppet's Christmas Carol!

My favorite is Scrooged with Bill Murray.

I like Christmas Vacation with Chevy Chase. I also like the Grinch and Elf. And the Polar Express is a family fave that we all watch right before Christmas.

It can't just be any Christmas Carol. It has to be the George C. Scott version, or Muppets. I LOVE Jimmy Stewart, so It's a Wondeful Life is nice. I also really, really enjoy Scrooged, and Boris Karloff narrating the Grinch is a small joy in my life. Christmas Vacation with Chevy Chase never fails to make me laugh. Those are the only ones I really make a habit of watching around Christmas.

The Polar Express....looks AMAZING on a high-def tv...shout out to A Christmas Story though....a timeless classic...

We watch A Christmas Story every year! It's a family tradition.

Agg, so hard to choose. My favorite is for sure A year without Santa Claus, but, i also like a few of the other claymatons, the night before christmas..and a few others.

Even though the title is "In the Good Old Summertime," the movie is set during the Christmas season.

I love A Christmas Story. We just let it play the entire 24 hours that it airs on TBS. It's really the only Christmas movie we can stand. The original Grinch is quite nice, but I don't care for the Jim Carey version.

I like the movie Elf

Nightmare before christmas is always in my favs list but claymation is always good so I'll watch those when they come on.

I'm sorry you don't like it, it's one of our "getting ready for Christmas dinner" traditions.
Has anyone seen Christmas in Connecticut? It is one of my favorites, and there is a short on the DVD directed by the man who directed It's a Wonderful Life that makes us all cry with JOY!

the nightmare before christmas. tim burton!
11/08/2011
I don't love any of them but I still watch every year!
11/08/2011
The Nightmare Before Christmas! We also used to watch Home Alone every year, so I have good memories of watching that film as a group of kids all together.

Nightmare before christmas, it's non christmassy enough that I don't get annoyed at it, overly christmassy things just get on my nerves.
11/09/2011
The Cartoon Grinch is my favorite. Our family also loves Elf and The Santa Clause.
