Fashion Bug is closing!

Have any of you heard that Fashion Bug is closing? I saw the anouncement on their Facebook page and I'm stunned. As a plus size girl that's the only place in town that sells clothes that will fit me! Especially jeans! I'm pretty angry about it and a lot of other people on their facebook page are complaining but it looks like a done deal. This is so messed up. -sigh-

I'm in the process of trying to lose weight and it's difficult. At least I always knew I could go downtown to Fashion Bug and buy clothes that will fit my body for now. Now I have to go to Lane Bryant and buy overpriced $80 jeans or try to find something at Catherine's. I'm not very familiar with Catherine's but most people say it's too mature looking. I'm 24 and I love Fashion Bug. I read it was all about the money money money. They don't really care what their customers want. Especially loyal customers that have been shopping there for years, including myself. Crazy....

Oh wow, I'm sorry to hear that! I've never shopped there or known anyone who had but I have heard of them and I think it sucks that there will be one less store like this.

I live in a small town and Fashion Bug is all I have. I'll have to head out of town to actually try clothes on. I hate ordering clothes online because I never know if they will fit right or not, then I have to pay to ship it back.

God, that sucks. It's so damned difficult finding a store that sells plus-sized clothes that aren't for middle-aged women going on cruises.

I wonder if there's a Maurice's around you? They're young, but not overtly trendy like Torrid.

I've heard of Torrid and been on their website. They have some cute things but I dislike sleeveless shirts/dresses. Bleh. They're pretty expensive. I've never been to a Maurices so I don't know. If anyone has any ideas where else I could buy plus size clothes please let me know! =] I'm gonna have to search the internet when Fashion Bug closes. It sucks.

Do you have an Avenue near you? Some of their stuff is pricier, but they usually have some pretty good clearance deals.
