Hey Edenites. You may or may not be familiar to fanfiction.net, but there have been some major changes on that site lately. A huge eraser is going around wiping out stories with sexual situations, violence, etc. I guess they're trying to keep it rather PG-13-ish. Thousands of stories are being removed, including some of the best shit I've ever read. Please help by signing the petition. It asks for information such as your first and last name, your email address, and home address. We need roughly 500 more to fulfill the 35,000 signature mark. Thanks for your time and support.

Could we get a link? Also, I'm a little iffy as to why a home address would be required for something like this.

It might be this (link)

This is just wrong! Smutty fan fiction is what the internet is all about!

Oh snap sorry. I forgot to put a link in. And yes, thank you, Errant Venture, for providing the link. And looking on the petition page, we have surpassed the 35,000 mark and are shooting for 50,000. Cool.

Yeah, I usually don't like providing information like that either. But it's not uncommon, they'd want to verify it or something.

If fanfiction.net deletes things, it's their problems. Other websistes will get the fanfiction fanbase... It's not like there's no way to create new domain names, or it's not like there isn't other websites to post those things. If they lose a clientele with their shitty policy, their loss.

That's true. Many authors are now posting links to other sites with their work on their profile in case fanfiction.net deletes their stuff.

My main concern would be with stuff written years ago by authors who don't really bother anymore. I've seen good stuff go down the drain in that way.

Also: why bother having an "M" rating available if stuff like this is allowed to happen?
