Actually, these days it's the first thing that comes to my mind the minute someone says "extreme." But is it a sport? I know G4 likes their Ultimate Challenges and American Ninja Warriors, but the people I would consider THE two authorities on the subject, David Belle and Sebastien Foucan, have both said parkour & free running are not about competition.
