Do you own an "exotic" pet ? Pinning down the definition of "exotic" is tricky, but generally it's just "uncommon", things like lizards, snakes, sugar gliders, skunks, et cetera.
Some depend on opinion. I'd call a reef tank "exotic" because of the commitment as opposed to just a goldfish. Some people think ANY birds are exotic, et cetera.
And if you don't, would you ? Or want more / different ?
Personally, I have an axolotl, which I would call "exotic" because people generally have no idea what it is. And I'd love to have a skunk when I have an actual house with different rooms for separation, I think the odd-colour skunks they've bred for can be really pretty, too.
