Are you open to exotic foods?

I heard from a friend today that ostrich tastes great. Personally, I can't really stomach the idea of eating 'exotic' animals. Just seems strange to me. Is this like you, too? Or do you like to eat things that are a little different than the norm?

I've eaten a lot of food that's considered weird by many. There's snake, frog legs, ox and pig brains...the list can go on forever.

How is eating one animal different from another? They all die, are slaughtered, and cooked. I never understand why people have no problem slaughtering one animal and not another. Suffering is a universal condition.

The most exotic food I eat is curry.

I love eating exotic fruits! Personal faves are passion fruit, durian, and feijoa.

I love trying new foods! If I see something I haven't tried yet, or an ethnic food I haven't experienced, I usually go for it. Only since college have I tried Thai, Indian, Ethiopian, and descent Japanese food, and I'm very glad I have experienced new tastes. This year I tried my first lychee berry even though I had never even heard of it before and it was so good I now go out of my way to find more.

I am not sure. If it was offered to me, I might try it. It took me forever to try Lamb and veal.

I haven't; I avoid bringing it indoors.

Is it worth the smell permeating everything in my apartment?

You love Durian but worry about the smell? So how do you eat it, at the parking lot of the market you bought it from?

I'll try anything once... as long as it's not alive. (Yes, live sushi is actually a thing.)

I want to try durian!

I love trying new foods, but when comes to exotic options, I prefer to try them with someone who has had it before/knows a lot about it.

I have a rule. I'll try it if you don't tell me what it was for a few days.
