I don't think so! I was just reading that Hostess is going bankrupt and they are taking away my Twinkies!! And Dong Dongs, and Snoballs....WTH?? That is sooo wrong!

I don't really like any of those things, but people are pretty upset! I didn't even know about it until yesterday when a customer asked me if the store I work at had any twinkies left. I think the crappiest part is the loss of jobs, I feel bad for the employees.

I especially feel bad for the employees. There was a local wonder bread/hostess discount bakery near my home and it went as well. Also, Hostess is selling their popular products and labels, so don't worry, there will probably be another twinkie out there.

I don't eat any of them, really, so it doesn't affect me much. I do feel bad that a company like that has to go out of business, though.

Yeah my fiancé is very upset too. He had an attachment to ding dongs lol.

I agree with the loss of jobs and the closing of the outlet stores--that is very sad and also scary for small businesses like mine. I almost had to shut down a few times due to the lack of sales and clients going out of business...

With the executives giving themselves 80-300% raises, I'm not surprised there isn't anything left to pay the employees a living wage. Bad enough they've been stealing their employees' pension funds all this time, too.

I don't like Hostess - I prefer Little Debbie.

Swiss Rolls > Ho-Ho's ;p

As far as the foods go, It's pretty much a non-event in my life that hostess is gone. I never ate them anyway, but like others have said it is really sad to see so many people lose their jobs.

Well...I never like to see an American company go out of business, in general, but I haven't eaten Hostess products since I was a kid, so it doesn't personally bother me. On a related note, has anyone else read the book "Twinkie, Deconstructed"? Scary stuff.

I'm with Chilipepper. As long as I can still get Little Debbie Swiss Rolls I am happy.

I am saddened by the job losses though.
