Ever Found an Old Account on EF?

Contributor: wrecklesswords wrecklesswords
A thread that I read a few minutes ago reminded me that I might have an old account here on Eden that I started years ago. When I got back into EF, I didn't think I'd had an account, so I just made a new one. But lately I've recalled possibly writing a few reviews for this site before.

So, today, I finally tried to login to what I thought my old account was. It took a few password tries, but I got in. Found 3 reviews that I'd written. Two of them were reviews that I recently just re-wrote, and one was for a toy that I forgot I even wrote a review for.

Since I am active on this account and not the other, I deleted it.

Has anyone else encountered this?

haha, that's good!

I'm becoming obsessive on this account. I keep updating my gf on the points I earn or the toys I find, or some of the things I read in the forums and she says "with as much time as you spend on the internet, I'm surprised you don't already have hundreds of dollars in points."

I've a few. That's normal for me: whenever I join something I usually sign up, dance around the site, never engaging much, until I give up and, a few months later, find the enthusiasm to properly use it and, well, here I am! Actually, I should delete those accounts, but I don't know how!

Just sign into them, click on "Account" scroll to the bottom of the page and press "Delete". You can change your screen name to "I No Longer Live Here" or something equally cheeky.

Just this one account for me. Made it when I first stumbled upon the site and wasn't sure if I'd stay. Thought about making a new account that was less "on the spot fake namey" but decided against it for whatever reason.

No. I only placed one order about a year or so before I discovered there was so much more to Eden. I first found some articles, then the reviews and forums followed. I have now been hooked for over a year.

My old account hadn't been touched since before the Points Program came up, which is good. I would be sad to have lost out on any points, haha, but having two accounts is kinda wrong and silly.

I tried that, but it just deleted all the personal information, not the actual account. I may go with the cheeky screen name, though

Thanks.

Yeah, it will delete all the information, but it will not delete the profile. I'm not totally sure why, but I guess it could be because of any reviews you may have written? I had 3 reviews on my old account. -shrugs- I have no idea.

It can't be that. Like I said, I didn't really use them, certainly not for reviews. Maybe if it's a published profile?

Nope, I've had the same one for about 6 years.

Hmm, that's odd. Maybe submit a support ticket for it?

I did this two days ago. I had an account a while back but forgot about it. The other day, I went to reply to a comment and forgot to add the numbers after my login and it logged me into my old account. When I saw it replied with a different avatar than my usual one I was super confused and then realized it must have been my old account. *facepalm*

Nope, this is my only account. I made it when I purchased something a few months ago, and then I found out about this great forum, the review program, and points! Now I'm here all the time.
