I got caught at work the other day watching fan made music videos on You Tube. You know the ones where the best clips from certain movies *cough* anything Jane Austen *cough* are rearranged and set to a song. Yup I love them, all of them I cannot get enough, however I was laughed alot over this so apparently this is an embarrasing Like/Habit that I have that makes me "less cool". I also cannot pass by any stationary dept/store/flea market booth without buying aomething..this is a terrible habit but I feel compelled to buy pens and paper and notebooks every single time. Does anyone else have something they love but everyone else thinks is lame? Or any wierd compulsions like my stationary addiction?
Embarrasing Likes/Habits.

I love getting scrtch and sniff stickers. If I write a note, card post-it, anything I love to include them. It is like my own personal stamp of approval. Afterall who doesnt like getting stratch and sniff sticker on their little note.

I love big butts. :/
It gets embarrassing when I can't stop staring and the person with the big butt gets offended. They just don't understand.

I really like miniature things...basically anything small and I will like it. Also, I really enjoy watching videos of cute puppies.

My addiction is Crystal rock stones, whenever I pass by one of those rock shops, I can't help but buy a few. The problem is, I'll store them in the closet, and never put them out on display. Drives my husband nuts!

Lol. I do have some "weird" habits. The thing I get made fun of the most though, is my undying love for HANSON. It started at age 7 and still has only grown! Lol.

One other habit I get heck about the most is my sniffing. Ever since I was a kid, a baby even (according to my dad) my twin and I have had this habit of smelling absolutely everything we touch. I usually don't notice it, but it happens alot. When I go to my post office box I smell every envelope or paper before throwing it away or leaving. You can see inside the office so my partner sees me and beeps the horn! Lol. I come out and say "wtf are you beeping for?!" I've finally realized it's the sniffing thing he beeps about.
Yesterday, my neice smelled of a cracker or something and my partner said "Oh my God, she's you!" LOl.

LOl That is cute! I have a couple of those. I have a neice who has collected rocks of all kinds (even gravel!) since she was a baby. I find rocks in my purses and floor and jean pockets ALL the time. It's so weird and funny. I'll dig through my purse and see a huge gravel from the driveway!

I mostly buy quartz crystals and some semi-precious stones. Once when I was on a small beach made completely out of black volcano rocks, I did have the temptation to pick some up, but decided not to. Good thing I didn't grab any, because I learned later it was illegal to remove them from that beach!

I don't really get embarrassed by things I do. Having said that, my sister has recently got me into this pokemon game, and I am slightly ashamed of that. Don't get me wrong, I firmly believe that, as we grow older, it's okay to revisit the things we loved as children. I find that to be perfectly acceptable, and not wrong at all. Still, pokemon? Really, I wouldn't have, except one of them is called something which is just one letter out from my surname. Curse you, (unnamed pokemon)!

I mostly catch hell because it's almost impossible to make me *really* laugh. I'll smirk, give you a half smile, or a brief chuckle, but it's really really hard to make me outright laugh. But, I guess that isn't really a habit as it is a serious flaw in my personality.
I, like Kendra, smell my food before I eat it and I don't finish the last bite or sip of anything. Whether it's a soft drink, beer, mixed drink or a hamburger, it doesn't matter. I just will not do it.

Ok, if there is leather anywhere I will scent it out. Kinda weird, but I love looking at leather that's been worked (either spliced, carved, or tooled) and I'm sure to find some if it's around.

The highlights of my neuroses that make people wonder ...
Straightening up clothing racks I happen to be looking through in stores. (I think I spent way too long in retail.)
Watching old British comedies.
Having to stop and stare at anything involving old keys, pocket watches, corsets, writing printed on it (especially fabric), gears, globes ...
Randomly talking to a stranger who happens to be witnessing the same thing I am.
Snarking at the news, whether on television or radio.
Responding to the "assurance" of "you'll find someone/get married again/etc" with a Hard Bitch Glare Level III. (I once scared a stranger doing that.)
