When ever possible I take the stairs. We've been on several cruises. These ships are 14 stories high - I never take the elevator, it helps work off the over indulgence of food and drink!

Elevator or stairs?

I go with stairs I feel less lazy.

I have to carry the baby as he is only going to be 2. So, I take the elevator. It's hard to walk up four flights of stairs with a baby. If it is just me, I will take the stairs.

I'm lazy... I don't like stairs.

Unless I have a lot I'm carrying, stairs.

For around 5 floors, I'd take the elevator. I have a bad knee and toomuch walking/climbing stairs definitely hurts. If it 2 floors or so, I'd take the stairs though. But more than that is usually a bit too much.

Stairs unless I'm carrying a lot of stuff.

I ten to stick to elevators when it's more than two or three flights, mainly because I'm usually in a hotel when I need to go that far and am carrying my weight in luggage.

If Im going up elevator If Im going down stairs

Unless the stairs are creepy, I take the stairs, if the stairs are creepy then I take the elevator, if a creepy person is on the elevator and the stairs are creepy, I bypass like I don't wanna go up then go back in a minute lol.

I like to take the stairs whenever possible.

I almost always take the stairs. I don't like being in closed in spaces with strangers.

1-2 floors, i'll take the stairs. 4 or more is too much for me

Both!

I like taking the stairs.

If I'm wearing heels, then the elevator. If I'm wearing athletic shoes or deck shoes, then the stairs.

I know, stairs are the healthier option... but I love technology..

I voted other. My right knee has no cartilage in it anymore because it's been worn down so much. If it's bothering me really bad, I'd take the elevator. If it's not hurting at all, I'd take the stairs. Lately it has been hurting more often than it has been feeling okay, unfortunately.

Escalator, anyone?
I'll often take an elevator if it's more than one or two flights, unless I can take my time going up and not rush. But I've got a fear of elevators getting stuck while I'm in them, so I'm always a little edgy while riding in one.

Stairs usually, unless my bad knee is acting up.

I'm lazy. I always try to find the elevator

Stairs. Afraid the elevator will get stuck or drop. But sometimes I use it.

Stairs. Secret Garden has scared me out of elevators...

Take the stairs when I can. Nothing against elevators.
12/02/2012
My knees hate stairs.

If it's more than 2 floors, definitely the elevator. I'll take the stairs if it's only a few flights.
I used to work on the 14th floor of a high rise, and we'd have an occasional fire drill where we'd have to walk down the stairs the whole way. I'd always be so dizzy when we were done!

Elevator, because I'm lazy. If it's fewer just one or two floors, though, I'd rather take the stairs and save myself the time of waiting around.
