Don't get mad, get Even

I don't think I'm a truly mean person, but I have done things because I felt the injustice of the world.

Ex: I had a roommate who always ate my food, and one time ate a lot of cookie dough I was having chill for an event. So, to get back, I made the best batch of cookie dough I could... and added chocolate laxative.

To finish it off, I hid the toilet paper, save only a tiny bit on the current roll.

Am I a bad person? Has anyone done something of this nature? I will admit, this wasn't the only time I've done such things...

hahahahahahaha.......I have nothing to add to this but hahahhaa. Im sorry, but I am soooo keeping this one in my "bag of tricks" for later.

Bad person? No. Funny as hell? Quite possibly. The only thing that would have made this better is that this person had a date over lol.

No I don't really do things like that. If I had a room mate who was eating all my food, I'd talk with her about it so things could become resolved. I'm not really a revenge sort of person.

That is hilarious. Props to you.

I typically stay out of this kind of activity, but every once in awhile I write something on our white board to make myself feel better about the fact that my roommates are occasionally crappy people.

Simple things, like when my roommate lost her mug and wrote "have you seen my mug", I replied 'sorry kiddo, I left it at yr Mum's house". I like your method much better, but I think I'd only do something like that if I made sure to write a note saying "DO NOT EAT" on it. That way it's entirely on them if they eat it.

This was my line of thought too.

But I have to admit that what you did sounds kind of funny.

Eh, I can't see myself doing anything like that. I have a general dislike of pranks, even ones that are perhaps well-deserved. I like Catsin's idea of putting a "DO NOT EAT" sign on it, as fair warning.

same here. i think that's pretty hilarious and definitely good material for some kind of movie or book... but yeah, i'd never do anything like that. i'm not a vengeful person at all. i just kinda write people off in my head, maybe dream of them getting hit by a car. and giggle about it. but of course i'd feel really bad if they did.

I haven't done anything that extreme (As hilarious as that is and as much as I would like to.). I usually engage in sorts of you-had-this-coming minor stuff, like if a roommate leaves food out for days on end despite me telling them not to I will not hesitate to throw it away and then giggle when they freak out.

I'm not passive-aggressive enough to do that sort of thing, though I'd say if they were repeatedly told to knock it off, they deserve what they get for continuing to do it.
