Does your pet(s) get scared during the holidays? How do you deal with this?

Our shih tzu that passed away a few months ago was always uneasy, anxious and a bit scared during the holidays. The Pomeranian doesn't care--as long as she gets plenty of pets and a few snacks. I am looking forward to seeing how our little puppy reacts....

She is pretty outgoing and seems to want to be everyone's friend, so hopefully she will love them as well!!!

Nope, when I had a black lab, she was more thrilled by the holidays and the influx of people. Even little kids were fine, long as she got attention

Only holiday that bothers my dog is New Year's and 4th of July since she doesn't like the sound of gunshots or fireworks. All other holidays she is perfectly fine with cause she gets to eat all sorts of yummy foods.

No. My dog did't care much for 4th of July when he was younger. The noise scared him. I got sad as he got older, the first year I realized he was losing his hearing because he slept right through it. I miss that cute little weenie dog! I would like to get another some day. The cats don't seem to mind the noise.
