Most people think having hours long of sex is the best thing ever, and the only best but I disagree. For the times me and my boyfriend go for hours I love and I also love the short times and quickies. Sometimes after an hour I'm just tired and want him to be done because I'm done lol, or other days I have a lot of energy to ask for "round 2". Either way I've had the best orgasms both minutes, under an hour or over. Doesn't matter to me, does it matter to you?

Nope, I actually prefer shorter sessions. I get tired and sore very easily so after about 30-45 minutes I'm just done.

I have had some sex that lasted a long time and it was amazing, i have also had the best sex be like 15 minutes, i think its more about the act rather than the time, sometimes it can be quick and amazing sometimes its can be long and amazing.

This, IMO, is as much of a myth as the whole "bigger is always better" thing. Course I cannot speak for everybody, but I do think that for the majority of us, those two things could not be further from the truth -- the whole size thing as well as the best sex requiring hours.

We have had sex for hours, but it has been quite a while. To be honest, I can't do it. I used to be able to, but it causes me a lot of pain to go for a super long time. Most likely, it'll come to a point where things get too sore for me to enjoy it enough to orgasm again anyways, especially if we've passed the one hour mark. An hour and a half is tolerable, but usually, we don't do it that long. I mean there's all this rubbing and thrusting going on and downstairs for me (and I assume for most girls) is very sensitive, so all that rubbing and thrusting eventually turns to rawness and jabbing.

I am a multiple orgasm'er & during our sex, they usually happen one right after the other, but I usually am done around the same time he is, which varies, but isn't usually an hour long.

Sometimes, I can handle 2 rounds, but most of the time, our one round is beyond satisfying.

No - we've never had the strength or interest in marathons. An hour is a long time for us. 30 minutes is about average.

For me, the best sex is a quickie when I'm expecting company and all the doors (but the ones leading to outside) is wide open. Apparently I get very paranoid which does things to my body X'D.

Quality is better than quantity, but I like the emotional connection that comes with long sex sessions. You can't really get that from quickies.

size is nice, but it's how he uses it that matters. i prefer 30-40 minute sessions. i get too sore otherwise

The longest we have ever gone is about an hour and half, and it was amazing, but we often squeeze in sex right before work which may only last a few minutes, and that is amazing, too. I think it is nice to have a variety and mix things up, and then you can enjoy each time as its own experience.

There's a minimum duration for it to be satisfying. But there is a maximum duration too. I get tired and it starts to chafe.

I agree that it's not about the amount of time. I've had 15 minute sex that was mind blowing and I've had 15 minute sex where i hadn't gotten in the groove before it was done. I've had long lasting 'god don't let it ever end" and long lasting "will this ever be over" all with the same partner.
I will say though if he lasts much over an hour my internal monsters start getting to me and I think I'm doing something wrong and he isn't stimulated enough to actually get off.
It is all situational.

I've never had a lovemaking session that long. That is why I can't orgasm. When it takes hours using vibrator a 30 minute sex session (quickie) is not going to do anything except leave me unsatisfied.

No, now personally I'd love to have sex for hours! But I think the best sex is when you make sure each others needs are met.
