And if so, what do you do/use to treat it?
Does anyone else over the age of 18 get acne?

I still get a random zit once in a while. Once I detect a zit is developing, I'll apply extra Lymphatic massages on my face, and the zit will fade away in a day before it actually gets a chance to break out.

I recently started to get more acne on my face, which is just horrific for me, lol. I had a good two years without it and then BAM! Acne. Ah, the enjoyment of stress. When I was younger I tried everything under the sun to get rid of it but after a while I just gave up and stuck to soap and water. Just washed my face and back more frequently, and scrubbed my makeup off as soon as I no longer needed it. It's not bad now so I'm not all that worried about it, I know as soon as I let go of whats stressing me at the moment, and with the cooler months coming up, it will go away on its own.

I have the occasional spot(s) dotted around my face. They're not as bad as back when I was a teenager, but it's still quite annoying. I don't do much - I just wash my face with soap and water every night.

You're welcome! Lymphatic massages should be done daily, so you can keep your skin in top shape.

I get the occasional zit, but my sister is 22 and she still gets pretty bad acne. Nothing really worked for her so she had to go to a dermatologist for treatment. I don't what she uses, but it works.

I'm 40+ and have gone through two courses of Accutaine at this point and still have a recurring problem. It's not horrible but enough to still make me self conscious about it. I refuse to use Accutaine anymore and have tried some topical prescription drugs as well. Currently, all I do is wash my face with a Neutrogena product that is mild and gentle on the face and live with it.

Just in the lower part of the T-Zone (nose and chin). I just wash my face per usual, sometimes use a facial scrub. Have combination skin (T-Zone is oily, cheeks are normal), so any 'regime' is going to be complicated.
Still, not as bad as when I was a teenager.

I take daily medication that causes horrible breakouts. Sucks but what are you gonna do?
To combat this I use a pretty long list of skin care. I use a Clarisonic Mia along with Murad Clarifying Cleanser to wash. Murad toner and exfoliating gel follows. Then I use REN Matte moisturizer in the evening and Murad matte moisturizer in the morning. Every other day I use an Umbrian Clay bar mask and once a week I use the Murad clarifying mask. I also use Philosophy Micorderm (or something like that) system when I need exfoliation. It's a gel and a scrub combo. I have the Murad spot treatment for flare ups.
It works well, but it's not perfect and I still get a spot here or there. Nothing like it was before.
Everything on there can be purchased at Sephora.

I had acne issues well into my 30s. The flip side of loosing the acne is that it often points to lower serum testosterone levels - so my clearing skin was a symptom of a bigger problem. I now use a testosterone cream and get an occasional zit here or there.

I never had issues with acne

I should probably wash my face more, but I suck at remembering to do it. I don't wear much make up though, so I don't have anything but my body's natural oils to remove most of the time. I get a few random breakouts every now and then, mostly on my chin where it rests against my husband's back if I'm spooning him. He has acne problems and excess oil so sometimes it clogs mine up. My solution? Put a sheet between my face and his back lol.

I still get a few around my chin and nose, I just scrub the shit of my face when I shower. Most of my acne is on my upper back, I get white heads like crazy, pretty much the same regiment there too.
09/23/2011
I do (in face, I break out more now then I did as a teenager), but I don't bother trying to control it... just soap and water for me.

I get stress acne and backne. I also get weird acne-like bumps in different places too.

I, too, use Murad's Clarifying Cleanser, as well as their Acne Spot Treatment. My son is 16, he uses Murad's line daily (he swears their spot treatment works miracles), as well as the ProActiv Cleanser every third day. He likes the scrub-action he gets with ProActiv.

I just figured out what causes my acne. I love peanut butter. I eat peanut butter or any kind of peanuts and my face breaks out like mad. I have stopped eating peanut products and my acne has completely disappeared; now if I could only get rid of the scars.

I'm barely over 18, so yes, occasionally

i'm over 18 and unfortunately acne happens. it's once in a blue moon though. i use Neutrogena face wash on my back and my face to keep it clean

I'll get the occasional zit still. I use Proactiv products, and LOVE them (they even have a body wash for back, chest, etc). Even when I get the occasional zit it isn't big, barely shows and goes away really quick all because of the Proactiv. I had mild to moderate acne before starting Proactiv, and have been using it for probably about 10 years or so, maybe a little less, I lose track.

From ages 10-22, I had pretty TERRIBLE acne. It's only been about in the last year that it has cleared up and gotten WAY better.
I started using this scrub from St. Ives, it's a green tea scrub and I use it daily. It has been the best thing for my face. I do still get acne, though. But, I moved to a more humid climate, so I know that has a lot to do with it.

I still get it, especially really painful cyst-like acne before my periods. I also have blackheads on my nose that wouldn't disappear no matter what I do. I have large pores, so they get clogged easily.

Pimples aren't exclusive to adolescence, they're just worse then. You'll probably always get them. Good news, yes?

I had horrible skin as a teen, then got into natural cures and such. I use all-natural soap on my face (usually Dr. Bronner's Castile Soap, unscented), rubbed in with a gentle exfoliation pad. I get an occasional facial at whatever day spas in my area offer the most natural ingredients, and the rest of the time, make my own out of things I find in the kitchen.
Though as a tip for people with combination skin and acne, honey is just about the best cosmetic I've ever found. Smear a thin layer on your face, leave for up to an hour, then rinse off, followed by a splash of cold water. Did wonders for me (a friend's mother recently complimented me on my "peaches and cream" complexion, and considering she knew me when I apparently had face plague, that's saying a lot). For dry skin, add a few drops of cream to the honey, and for oily skin, a few drops of lemon juice. The only problem with it is it is very sticky, and plenty of people hate sticky things on their faces.

I used to have it pretty bad but in the past year my acne has gone down really low. I have pimples now and then but I let them go on their own.
I use skin care products, I always wash my face with an exfoliant every night, I wash my face with a soap, use tonic to balance the ph of my skin and use liquid make up remover if I have any mascara left on my face.
I use Vichy products but I no longer use products for acne, I use the basic every day skin care products.
It seems like the day I decided that I wasn't paying attention to my acne anymore and decided to wash my face with regular skin products my skin got better. I felt like continuing to use acne products kept them coming back. I felt like I wanted no acne but used acne treatments, it was sort of contradictory. Once I got rid of the products and lived like I had no acne to take care of, it went away on its own!!!!!
The secret guys....it works

I have never really been bad with acne. I get the odd zit. I wash with simple Ivory bar soap, tone with clean and clear astringent and use oil of olay (oil free) daily.
09/24/2011
It's extremely rare for me to get a single zit. But even as a teenager I rarely got them.
When I do get them, I just pop them asap and I don't use anything different from what I wash my face with every day.
I've never gotten scars from popping so I'll continue to pop away!

I get mild acne, especially around my period. I use a witch hazel and lemon juice mix as a toner, and the Yes to Tomatoes face wash, mask, and moisturizer. I love them!

i get random break outs occasionally. if i use my neutrogena products regularly, i don't break out pretty much at all. i like to use the black head scrub & stress control wash. once i wash my face w/ 1 of those, i apply an oil free astringent. after that dries, i use a moisturizer w/ spf 15. i don't use the moisturizer as much in the summer b/c i have naturally oily skin. i do this twice a day. i like to use the black head scrub in the morning & the stress control at night. all the products i use are neutrogena.
