Do your pets hate going to the vet/groomer?

Today I took my cat to the vet for a shot and to get something checked out. She said he should be okay, but to come back in a week to make sure he it hasn't gotten worse. After that we went to the groomer. Usually he puts up more of a fight at the vet, growling and sometimes hissing, but he was pretty chill today. At the groomer he was apparently a bit feistier. He was supposed to have a little trim but he wouldn't let the lady dry him! She suggested he only have foam bathes from now on so he'll just have to be toweled off. He also put up one hell of a fight when she tried to put him back in his carrier, she had to call back two more people! Do you have pets that loathe going to the vet or groomer?

P.S. This is kind of a long post, I guess I'm a crazy cat lady!

Our dog growing up didn't like the vet at all. Or baths. But when we took her to the vet just acted scared.

And when we gave her baths, she looked downright miserable.

My pets hate going to the vet. I do all the grooming at home though so they're not scared as much as irritated!

My cat hates the vet. Normally she acts scared and just cowers. The last time she was in, she threw a hissy fit. They needed to draw some blood and had to sedate her to do it. Poor kitty.

He's not crazy about it, but I've been doing the grooming myself lately and he's ok with it, but doesn't love it either.

My boys (Dip and Fidget) hate cleaning themselves, let alone someone else doing it!

My pets hate the vet, well the ones who have been there a few times anyway. My dog will get excited for the car ride, run along the sidewalk, but when she sees the office, she stops dead in her tracks and tries to run off. She is definitely protective of my family, but isn't violent unless she thinks we're in danger. However, she has gone to bite the vet; she really hates him.

The 2 cats do anything to avoid the cat carrier since that definitely means a vet visit. The younger 2 are still too new to understand what would happen and gladly walk into the carrier. They are also calm in the office until they get a needle, check up, or whatever.

I currently have two pugs, who were very good about going to the vet. My past dogs hated it though.

They're not with us anymore, but years ago we had two small dogs. Both were fine with going to the groomer/vet, but one of them hated getting a bath.

My dog seems to like it. She goes to a dog hotel to get her grooming and stays there sometimes to play with the other dogs. =)

My mom's dachshund mix just gets super excited and nervous. She cries a lot and wants to be best friends with everyone she sees.

My dogs LOVE LOVE LOVE the vet. All 3 of them. Only one loves to be bathed..but they're all short haired so we do them ourselves.

My cats on the other hand, not a huge fan of the vet. But they behave when they need to go. I have one less than pleasant cat who generally dislikes most people and is pretty obvious about it. Last she was at the vet I had to do a drop off and leave her there. I gave them permission to sedate her if they needed to, to handle her and work on her. They said, much to my amazement "She's one of the easiest cats we've ever had!" not my cat!!

My mom and I both work at a vet, so our animals are normally pretty excited to go. My mom takes one of our dogs into work everyday, so she's use to it.
