Yes. All our dogs have. I've learned that giving them a lot of attention when they are acting neurotic actually increases the behavior. So, we tell them quietly it's OK, then put them in their crates, which they love. Their crates are covered with sheets, so they feel safe and they have blankies and their "babies" in there. They will now automatically seek us out during a storm and then go directly into their crates, knowing they will be safe there.

Although, they have been known to ride out storms under the footrest of our LazEBoy couch! They look at me (they stare at me) until I put the footrest up and sit down and then both of them, a huge male Malamute and a pretty muscular female Black Lab try to fit under my foot rest. I'm the "Rescue Mama" I guess.

Our cats aren't affected at all, but my grandparents have a dog that came from an abused home and is terrified of any loud noises, especially thunder. They've tried everything to get her to calm down and nothing really works at all.

I have a cat and she could give two shits about thunderstorms, fireworks, etc. But if I bust out the vacuum or broom, you'd think the world was gonna end.

Nope. My cat and dog sleep right through, but if I try to take the cat out in the rain, he'll try to rip my head off!

One of our 3 cats does sometimes. Just the other day she climbed inside the back of our recliner and when we got her out she crouched really close to the ground (her stomach was touching the ground) and walked through the living room and upstairs. She then crawled on my daughter's bed and under her pillow. This is not a small cat she is about 15 pounds.

My guinea pigs don't seem to notice anything besides food. Vacuum cleaner, music, storm, it's all good as long as they're provided munchies.

Our dog does sometimes, but normally only when the thunder gets really loud.
Although if it's even so much as sprinkling out, it's a battle and a half to get him to go outside and go potty. xD
I usually have to carry him all the way down to the fire hydrant.
