Those of you who drive...do you like to leave the driving to the autopilot, or are you more the hands-on type?
Do you use cruise control?

Every time I try, I end up coming up on another car and have to use the breaks, which turn off the setting on the cruise control...so it makes it pretty useless where I drive. Too much traffic on our freeways.

I never use it, but my husband will occasionally use it when he's driving on those never-ending highways.

I hate cruise control. I feel like I have no control over the car.
03/13/2013
On a long straight drive, I will use it.

I rarely use it, and then only because my husband tells me to, though more usually he drives.
I don't like automatics, much preferring a manual which is more usual in the UK where I am from. I tease him that with cruise control and automatics you are not really driving just steering slightly.

I use cruise control as much as possible. Keeps me safer from getting a speeding ticket on the roads with my sports cars, and helps fuel economy. Doesn't really matter where I am, I'll use it. Downtown freeways, side roads, wide open freeway, I use it as much as possible.

In the city, no. On the highway, yes.

Mainly on interstate drives.

only on the non busy parts of the highway!

Usually if I am going more than 30 miles on the highway and there isn't alot of traffic
03/13/2013
It depends on where I'm going. I don't use it often though because even on the interstate I have to slow down or pass someone and kick off the cruise control.

i dont drive

I don't use it because I'm nervous about auto-pilot stuff in general. I like to be in control of the car really.
03/13/2013
not really, maybe on an empty highway
03/13/2013
I only use it on the highway.

my partner and i live about three hours appart from one an other, and have to get on the highway to get to and from our places, so i usually use cruse control when i make that treck or anytime i will be on a long roadtip where im traveling on the highway. theres just too many stop lights to do it that often.

I use it a lot - to me the steering wheel is control. If I need to slow or speed up - it's easy enough to do.
03/14/2013
Very rarely and only on a long long road trip.
03/14/2013
Only use cruise while on the highway.
03/14/2013
Can't drive yet but I suspect that I would use it for long highway drives.
03/14/2013
I only use it on the highway, when it's not too busy.
03/14/2013
I've never had any that worked in all the cars I've driven.
03/14/2013
I use cruise control all the time, I'd go crazy without it. But I don't use it if there's heavy traffic.
03/14/2013
When I did have a car I used to use it on the highway a lot.
