Cashiers hate me. I went to the grocery store this morning and bought 24 items and used 24 coupons. My total out-of-pocket was $9.07 and my saved total was $50.53. I simply refuse to pay full price if there's a discount readily available - mind you, I also only buy things I will eat or use, and I don't buy brands I don't like or off-brands.
I also have coupons for retail stores, online shopping, and several websites I check on to see if there's any coupon/sale match-ups I could have missed. And I'm not an overly frugal person...it's just that I only have so much $$ to go around and in order to have the things I NEED (food, work clothes, etc.) plus the stuff I WANT (vacations, my shoe buying habit), I need to shop as smart as possible. If I didn't take advantage of all this stuff, I'd mainly be limited to the 'need' stuff. And what fun is that?
Anyone else like me? I'm sure there are lots of 'sometimes' people, but I'm curious as to what everyone else's usage is like, especially with the economy being so crazy the last couple of years.
