debit and cash, I don't trust myself with credit cards anymore
Do you use Checks, Debit Cards, Credit Cards, or Cash?

When in the US, I use my debit almost always. I live in Europe now and some places don't accept cards at all, and even if they did, alot of places have a hard time with my US debit cards. It's just much easier to carry cash in euros.

I even pay bills off my debit card now, and thus get bonus points.

Debit card or cash. I never use my credit card unless I absolutely need to and I only use checks for rent

Debit cards have all the advantages of cash (they ARE "Cash") without the chance of loss. Best of BOTH worlds.

I have a debit card that gets airline points, another that gets hotel points. NEVER will use a credit card again, unless a big emergency purchase.

Try renting a car or booking a hotel room with cash! Impossible. A Debit Card is the same as cash...without headache and risk of loss and with all benefits of points/ease of use and above all, same flexibility of credit. Heck, try ordering something from EF with a hand full of dollar bills!!!??? The IDEA of cash is great. Using the DEBIT card is the best way TO use cash!

I tried an AmEx card, but less and less places accept it, plus it COSTS. Our Airline and Hotel Points DEBIT card (a Mastercard) seems to be warmly welcomed all over the USA and indeed, Europe and Asia.

I use a credit card, though I do have enough money to pay it off immediately every time. It's mostly just for convenience.
I have been trying to carry cash recently, since it is the safest way to pay with all of the card hacking and stealing going on recently!

Debit card, cash if necessary. I don't have a credit card and I haven't had an actual checkbook in years.
