I don't use a nightlight, but there is always some light in my room, either from my computer, street light through the open blinds, etc. I am occasionally in places of total darkness when I'm away from home, but I couldn't say if my difficulty sleeping was because of the darkness or because it's just an unfamiliar place.

I don't use a nightlight. I sleep during the day so I don't really need any extra light.

Try to keep it as dark as possible while trying to sleep. We do leave a lamp on in the living room to light our way to the kitchen if we have to get up.

I don't use a nightlight. I don't like light at all when I sleep, so I use a sleep mask as well.

I don't! Actually it's the opposite, any light really disturbs me. I cover clocks, turn over cell phones, throw clothes over blinky laptop lights!

No night light, and I have to have a fan or something on to overcome tinnitus in the left ear from a HORRIBLE opening band at the first concert I ever went to.

No. If I'm scared I leave the kitchen or bathroom light on. It gives me just enough light to not have scary shadows everywhere.

I always have to have some type of light, I cannot sleep in total darkness. I do get scared lol. I usually leave the hallway light on and my room door open.

I like it dark as can be. I used to be afraid of the dark, and slept with a nightlight until I was 10. But now I sleep best in total darkness.
