Do you toast things in a pop up toaster or a toaster oven?

We are having a big discussion about....toast. No kidding. For decades a pop up toaster was "the only way to make toast". Then in the 70's and 80's, along came toaster ovens and I didn't realize pop up toaster sales plunged.

I believe they are "back", but not totally sure.

How do you make "toast"?

I prefer a toaster oven. They're more versatile. I don't have a toaster.

I like to use the pop up toaster...I only use the toaster oven if it's a big batch or something.

Pop up toaster. We have a toaster oven out in the garage somewhere, and I've got no plans to dig it up anytime soon.

Toaster Oven. I found a brand new one at the goodwill for $4.50, it was over $120 online

We have both, but I absolutely love my toaster oven, we use it daily since we don't use microwaves. I'd say I prefer the pop-up toaster for toast, the toaster oven for everything else.
