I smoke mistic e-Cigs every now and then when I'm nervous, before a meeting or an exam. They are slightly healthier for you.
Do you smoke cigarettes?
10/15/2012
I very rarely will indulge in cloves.
10/15/2012
Never did. Cigarette smell/taste is a HUGE turn off for me
10/15/2012
I smoked for about 10 years, but I quit a few years back.
10/15/2012
My father was a smoker and exposure to it from a young age made me hate cigarettes.

Cat E.
Yuck. I don't smoke and I never have.
10/16/2012
Nope.
10/16/2012

Same here! I smoke and so does he. We've been wanting to quit. We've tried 3 different E-cigs with terrible luck. One was total shit because we spent so much $ only for it to keep running totally empty in very little time (less than 2 days!) Then another one just kept giving me headaches instead of doing anything to curb the craving. I also tried a cheap one with the same -- no results. Nothing was different to us.

Wow, that's interesting. My husband and I have been trying to quit, with no luck. I have heard from others that haven't smoked in many years that they never get rid of the cravings. That's disappointing.
So we have been looking into a better one for a long time now, but are extremely hesitant due to the money we've already wasted, ya know? Have you tried the E-cigs yet? I do believe they could help me quit, I just think I have to find the *right* one, which seems like a hit or miss for different people, and sadly, it can get expensive to need to keep trying different ones to find the right one.
The ONLY time I was able to quit smoking was about 4 years ago when I became extremely ill. I'd been suffering from horrible IBS and endometriosis and didn't know what the problem was at the time. Those issues combined caused me to be so ill since eating was almost not an option for me because I'd be severely sick each and every time. I remember a small handful of french fries sending me to the ground! That went on forever, and after staying that sick, I lost weight and being only 70 pounds meant my immune system was shit and I was sick constantly!
So I came down with bronchitis, laryngitis and the endo and IBS on top of it! I thought I was a dead girl. It was the worst. But being that severely ill meant I hardly had energy to shower and go to the restroom for weeks, much less smoke. So I decided between my passing out and cough fits that I was quit for good. This lasted several days and I began feeling better, my partner and others smoked around me, stress built up again and there I went. Lol. I'm weak! But I tell you, for the time I was down and that sick, even looking over at my pack of smokes made me cringe. I truly wanted nothing to do with them, so I was sure I was dying. Lol.
I definitely don't want to be that sick again just to quit and I don't want it to take something that awful for me to, but I am still going to try more E-smokes, hopefully finding a sale or something like that though.
You know, we've talked about recruiting a friend smoker and going in half & half. However, our friends do not want to quit that badly yet. But it'd be a really good idea since it'd be cheaper. Just paying half for the refills and such.

Never, and never will. I really hate cigarettes.
10/16/2012
Smoked for 20yrs, finally got tired of it and quit...cold turkey! Not alot of fun but it was over in a week or so and I haven't touched a cig in over 8 yrs.
10/16/2012
Never have and never will.
10/16/2012
Nope, I don't smoke.
10/16/2012
No, I don't smoke
10/16/2012
I smoke around a half pack per day. I started smoking 28 years ago but quit cold turkey --literally-- as soon as the blue area showed up on the pregnancy test. I did not start again until my daughter was a year old. (Then I joined her dad outside to smoke--would NOT allow it near her.) I quit again prior to chemo/radiation for ovarian cancer 4 years later and started again about 8-9 months later during the hormone/emotional depression from the hysterectomy. It is ingrained now----but no one can honestly see the future, I never say never.....

I smoke, but after December I'm quiting for good!
10/16/2012
Used to, not any more.

Not anymore. I quit. Yay!
10/16/2012
Cigarettes are disgusting and just catching a whiff of one can give me a terrible headache.
10/16/2012
I never smoke I know better. Its bad for you health and causes other problems like money! I been around several family members who are addicted to cigs. The packs in nyc are high as 10 bucks. one family member of mine sold there car recently Just so they can still buy cigs. another family member made over 20 thousand dollars on ebay selling stuff around the house and it all went to cigs. its like a drug and destroys family too!
