Mine stays in my purse by my front door!
Do you sleep with your cell phone on and by your bed?

On for the alarm and otherwise silenced.

Yup, it's also my alarm clock.

sometimes my phone is in my bed, heh

I wish I could break this habit as it seems like it makes me less likely to get a good night's sleep. Half the time it ends up underneath of me.

My cell is on and where I can reach it at night.

Off, I need my beauty sleep!

I have to keep it nearby, I have a mom with medical issues, so who knows what kind of phone call I may get in the middle of the night..

I sleep with it right beside me, mainly because it's also my alarm clock.
10/19/2012
I have it by my bed, but on silent so it doesn't disturb me. I'd be pretty useless in an emergency.
10/19/2012
Stays on my night stand all night, turned on

I sleep with it, in case my daughter needs me, or it is an emergency at work. Same with hubby. Bottom line...they have become indispensable.

I sleep with it in my possession. My mother in law isn't in the best of health. My parent's aren't either. I worry I will miss the call that comes in, so I sleep with the phone next to me.

Pill reminders, New Mail alerts, Text Message Alerts. My oh my, we have become phone dependent, but it is so nice to have all these in one place.

We keep it in a little shelf in the headboard because that's where it has to sit when we plug it in, and so my mother can shut off the alarms when they go off for her pill reminders.

I so admire you. I used to do 24 hours shifts and now, I get sleepy for three days even thinking of it. They are about to make my whole department cover night shift, instead of a dedicated "night crew" and we are "up in arms" about it. It will so suck to be back on 11 pm to 7 am shift. Yuk.

It is in the kitchen charging. I work nights and sleep during the day. even people from the day shift will call my phone in the day time. Really, they don't get it. SO no never sleep with the phone.
Glad you can do it.

Mine is glued to my side, even on a cruise or on vacation. The only exception is when I am flying commercial.

It is amazing the number of people under 30, who no longer bother thinking about "land line" phones.

It charges on the edge of my bed frame. We don't have a landline or an actual alarm clock so my fiance and I both use our phone alarms.

I keep mine right by my bed, mostly because I use it as an alarm clock
10/19/2012
I must keep it on. I usually work grave yard and if I am off and sleeping at night, I need to be accessible to my co-workers.
10/19/2012
Always next to my bed.
10/20/2012
It's my alarm.
10/20/2012
Right under my pillow
10/20/2012
my cellphone is always right next to me.
12/13/2012
I use it as my alarm, so I always keep it within reach.
12/13/2012
It is tucked amongst some pillows but it's always on the 'vibrate' setting so it's not a distraction.

I keep it on but in the other room. That way it's close enough to hear the alarm ring tone but far enough so that regular calls don't disturb my sleep.
