No, I usually like it to be dark but I have been sleeping with the TV on lately. It sounds stupid but I feel less....alone? Since my guy and I don't live together.

Not on purpose, but I fall asleep reading a lot, which means the lights stay on.

It has to be dark for me. I even cover up my alarm clock so the light from the numbers doesn't disturb me.

I'm afraid of the dark so I must have some sort of light on before I go to bed and all throughout the night. It could be a nightlight, the tv on, or the lamp beside my bed, which is what I always leave on. I just can't sleep in the pitch black dark. I've always had serious issues with it since I was a child and even getting help for it didn't do anything! I also have glowing stars on my walls and ceilings, or flash lights close to the bed just incase I wake up and it's dark in the room. My partner is still getting used to my night issues, but he's such a good guy about it! He's slept with me cuddled against his chest when our power went out for a whole day so I could sleep, as I started to whimper a little and cling to him so I wouldn't freak out. I can deal with normal night darkness outside.. it's just if it's so dark I can't see my hand, or anything.. then I will get a bit scared. xD

I wear a sleep mask to get it dark enough. Even a little bit of light makes me unable to sleep.

we have night lights in the house, they are for the kids. I like it to be pitch black, but I know that I will have to wait until my kids are older and I can remove the night lights.
