Do you save the silicone "tester" nubs from some toy packaging?

Contributor: DustBunny DustBunny
I got two new toys in the mail today and both came with a silicon tester nubs(I can't think of a better term, maybe nipple?) so you can feel the texture of the toy before buying it. I'd not seen this before, but I will say it's a great idea if you are in store shopping. I can see now that I'm going to end up with a collection of these, maybe being silly and lining them up along my dresser.

I think it's a newer thing, I've never received one before with a toy and I was kind of amused by it. At first I was wondering what it was or if it was a part, than I noticed the arrow saying "test here".

I've only gotten one so far but my mother kinda snatched it up, I would have saved it myself too though.
I'm the sort to save such things and find some bizarre use for them later on. xD

Good safety idea. I hate clutter so I would definitely throw them out.

I've never had a toy come with one. If I ever do, I'll just toss it, I'm sure.

How neat! I've never had one like that. LOL @ "Maybe nipple?" That was cute.

Yes, if I were store shopping, being able to feel this "nipple" would be a very helpful thing. Lol. Sorry, I couldn't help but mention the nipple thing Hee Hee.

No. I thought about possibly using them for crafts, but I can't think anything specific that I'd want to do with them.

Not something I've thought to save, though I think only one of the toys I've purchased has come with a nub like that.

I've received one and didn't think to keep it. Obviously a nice feel, but I wouldn't know what to do with a bunch of them.

I kept the one that came on the silicone finger bunny EF had as a free gift a while back. I used it to plug the bunny when the bullet wasn't in place. Wouldn't work too well for other toys though, but it was a perfect fit.

Cyberskin and UR3 toys have had those tester bits in the packaging for years.
I haven't experienced any silicone ones yet.

I never tried that, I have two of them now so I'll have to try the one I did open.
