myself, I prefer sex oriented discussions - I've learned from them & they just are more interesting. I know others prefer to chat and keep things light. do you prefer sex oriented discussions or chatty oriented discussions?

Both. If all we ever talked about was sex around here it would get really boring, really fast.

I like both. I like ones that make me think a bit most
04/12/2013
I also like both
04/12/2013
Like most things - variety is preferable to more of the same. I find a lot of the questions inane - but I can ignore those and go on to the ones that are more thought provoking.
04/12/2013
I like both, as long as the discussions are interesting.

You need a bit of both.
04/12/2013
Both, I like to learn new things and I like light conversation as well.
04/12/2013
I also like them both. While I like sex and talking about it, it's nice to have some variety. Sex isn't my life and I like to get to know other contributors in other ways as well.

With our Friday Night Dinner Group (where I am going in a couple hours) we always speak "sex". It's great. Been doing it for about four years, sometimes anywhere from three to more then a dozen married couples and we still have not run out of topics or opinions. Sure, we speak about politics, money, kids, work, but the big "free speech" topic is always sex. We get great ideas here on EF to talk about too.

I skip over the inane "What do you like better; white socks or off- white socks?" as they drive me up the wall for the more thought stopping-think-about-i t-questions.
I especially love reading those whole threads!

A week ago, sex, in our "free sex talk" group never got around to sex. It was all about "health care, growing older, medicare, reimbursement..etc". Hate to say it, but that is the topic that got boring and tiring after a couple hours. Especially since a lot of those there are in health care, with strong opinions on the matter.

Both. They're both great at being educational and entertaining

Little bit of both depending on who I am with.
04/13/2013
I like both, but I do enjoy questions that make you think and are a bit provocative in nature. Of course you knew this already if you've ever read and answered my questions.
04/13/2013
Both. I like the variety and depending on my mood, there are subjects that I find very interesting.
04/13/2013
Both ITs fun to hear or learn new things or ideas
04/13/2013
I am not that much of an expert to talk about sex all the time, but on the other hand sex was the reason I started to use this forum in the first place. So I really do like both.
04/13/2013
I like both! I love reading others' experiences.
04/13/2013
I like both discussions. Although, I prefer the chatty ones because the sex ones, to me, get rather boring and redundant.
04/13/2013
Both, there are some sex ones that I don't participate in as they don't relate to aspects I partake in or know anything about. There are some topics that come up over and over that drive me insane but I just look over them and move on.
04/13/2013
I like them both! I'm not always in the mood for the same thing, so even an inane question, might interest me at some point. Besides, those & the games are popular for a reason, some times people don't want to think too hard! I've posted, & seen posted, some very thought provoking questions & they die a quick death, so I can understand why someone would rather not continue to post only deep discussions! Of course, the same can be said of sex only discussions. I like that this forum is broken down into sections so you have the opportunity to avoid, for the most part, what you don't want to see & can zero in on the topics that interest you that day. I like seeing the responses of others as much as I like commenting myself!
04/13/2013
Both! Like so many have already said, if it is an interesting topic and stimulating conversation, that's what I look for.
04/13/2013
interesting responses to my question. I too like discussions of interesting topics and those that stimulate conversation. I also like those that offer learning about something.
04/13/2013
I LIKE BOTH, BUT IF I COULD ONLY CHOOSE ONE IT WOULD BE SEX!!!
04/13/2013
A little from column A, a little from column B.
04/13/2013
I love having both. It makes talking about sex feel so "normal"! I wish my real life could be more like that.
