I always do. This was something new to The Husband. When we were just dating e used to take a lot of showers together and during one of them I had just gotten off of work and was relaxing under the water and I peed and I guess the warmth of the water hit him as we were exchanging places to rinse. He freaked the fuck out.

I thought everyone peed in the shower.

We don't take as many showers together anymore.

Urine is sterile, and while I don't pee in the shower, it's not sick. In some countries folks soak their feet in urine to cure athlete's foot fungus.

Pee is sterile, and peeing in the shower saves TONS of water every year. Plus the water just washes it all away, how is the pee any dirtier than the grime you scrub off of yourself?? AND you get to clean yourself thoroughly! Sounds win-win to me.

I probably wouldn't pee in somebody elses shower, but sure, I do it from time to time in my own. Urine is sterile, and that aside, it's being washed away as the shower goes on. If anything it's a waste of resources to pee in the toilet, wipe with toilet paper, flush a gallon of water down with your pee and THEN take a shower.
