If so, is it really as good as people make it out to be? Thinking about getting one.
Do you own an iPad?

I really wanted one, I have an iPhone and I'm so used to the layout and all but I couldn't come up with that chunk of change. I ended up getting an android tablet for a fraction on the process and I love it. It's so nice for using around the house, ect. And I can access flash websites and videos that I can't with my iPhone since the iPhones and iPads are not flash comparable. So even if you don't go for the iPad, a tablet is highly recommended.

They are nice...but there are a lot of tablets on the market. Keep in mind all the other tablets are compared to the ipad. I am NO fan of apple but my wife wanted an ipad so that's what Santa left under the tree for her.

No, I have my Kindle Fire and I'm more then happy with that. The ipad is too large, and cost way too much. My biggest thing is, I'm not paying 700$ for something that doesn't support flash!! I mean, my cell phone does, why can't the Ipad? The whole point of the interweb is to watch videos. That and the price turns me off the Ipad. My kindle does that and then some, and I spent 200$

No I just have a cheap tablet and I don't use it a lot so I don't think I'll be getting one.

We have an android transformer. My husband works around apple ipads all day in his work and they can't do near the stuff that our transformer can.

definitely not! I can't find a single reason why I would ever need a tablet. if I want a small computer, I'll buy a netbook. then I wouldn't have to worry about buying a bunch of goofy looking accessories to make my ipad safe from being banged up.

They cost $700.00?! That's too much. Especially with no flash support.

I just bought a refurbished lap top for about $350.00 and I LOVE it. We bought one for our youngest child for her birthday, and I needed one for work. I have never had a lap top before and I really like it.
I think that keyboard on the iPad would drive me nuts. I need feedback when I am hitting keys.

I would never spend $700 on something like that. I would buy a cheap laptop first. $700 is 2/3 of a week's pay for my hubby. That would be insane to pay. My rent isn't even $700.

I have a laptop that I intend on keeping for a few years, and I think that the iPad may be amazing, but my laptop is fine for me right now. Also, I don't have the extra money lying around.

I don't have an I-Pad yet. I would love one, but I can't justify the cost when I have my laptop.

Thank you! Everything Apply is 3-4x the cost of what you can pay to get equivalent functionality.

No. I have the Kindle Fire instead. The people I knew with Ipads didn't have exactly what I needed. I got mine for reading and especially for my school lectures and things like that. It really depends on your personal preferences. I learned the Ipad had a lot of things I didn't like about it when I was testing different E-readers out.
