Do you overly worry about your animals?

I love my pets and I worry about them since they cant talk. I know they are happy because when ever my puppy looks up at me her tail is always wagging and the cat is always purring when she goes near me. (and when I say always I mean every time I pick her up even if I wake her up and every time I go near her its like a permanent PrrpPpprrrppPPPprr)

I know they are safe but I worry that they might get sick and I will not know it or something like that. I keep track of what they normally like to do just in case they start acting funny so I can take them to the vet if somethign goes wrong.

Any one esle feel the same way or am I just too worried? I just worry because they cant tell me whats wrong.

No...I can usually tell when something is wrong with my pets because they act differently. You just have to learn what they act like when something's wrong and when not.

Agreed. I can always tell when my cat is out of character, which is rare. As long as she's lounging in the sun on her fat ass, I know she's happy.

Currently I dont have any animals due to where I am living. But when I do I def. over worry because I want them to be in the best health they can be. Especially because of the obvious...they cant talk to you and tell you whats wrong lol.

I do with the chinchillas. Mainly because their so sensitive to heat, and temps above 75 could be fatal.

I have always worried over my pets, especially our beagle. We had her for 10 years and the past year or so, I worried constantly. The time came to where we had to put her to sleep and it has broken our hearts. That was 10 months ago and I'm sitting here crying as I type this. Now with only our cat left, I worry on a daily basis about her.

I worry about them when I am not home. I work in the veterinary field so I have a good idea of when to worry or not worry when it comes to medical issues with them.
