In the past year or two, I started buying some groceries online. Nonperishable food, pads, shampoo, dish detergent etc. They are generally cheaper compared to stores with free shipping (especially if you use Subscribe and Save with Amazon.com). Anyone else does this?
Do you order grocery online?

Our grocery store actually does an online order and deliver. I use it from time to time if I am too busy to get to the store or planning a party. It's great being able to just sit at my computer and grocery shop! No lugging bags to and from the car! It is totally a luxury though and could never do it weekly.

We haven't used such services so far but they're probably in our near future since there's been issues with transportation after dark or when it's raining/snowing.

Yes I buy body care stuff online, sometimes tea or coffee, and occasionally other pantry items.

I do not do this regularly, but with some items I will do this.

Never tried this at all. But if I were I think I would stick to products I know are good and have used before. If it is a lot cheaper on amazon i'd consider it.

Yes I do this regularly, with subscribe & save! I order snacks this way

If shipping is included I would, but never have thought of doing it before.

So who wants to give me the low down on how you like to do the shopping in more detail. I have an amazon account and have ordered stuff from there before. But never tried online grocery shopping, I do not have the program activated for free shipping

I feel the same way. I have to be there to touch/feel the food, because we buy about 50-75% fresh foods.

I actually enjoy grocery shopping, so long as I go during off times. I hate it when it is really busy and you get people stopping to talk in the middle of aisles and blocking the path for anyone else. Especially when you get the ones that glare at you when you say excuse me to get them to move, as if you are the one being rude.

You can go to amazon.com, and search for the product you want. Let's see, I buy Herbal Essences shampoo from Amazon with subscribe and save. So I'd just search for Herbal Essences. I find the shampoo I want, for example link

Then I go to the right-hand side of the product page, and select subscribe and save. Then check out. You will get extra 15% discount, and the shipping for this will be free and no tax (unless you live in a state that Amazon has warehouse in).
When you do subscribe and save, you automatically enter a subscription which you have to select how frequent you want each shipment, you can select whatever frequency you want. You can always cancel the subscription at any time from your account page, under manage subscribe and save.
You can do this with coffee, snacks, diaper, etc. Amazon offers subscribe and save with a lot of house hold products. I am pretty sure I am saving around 30-40 dollars a year by buying pads on Amazon alone(Same brand, same size, cheaper, no shipping and no tax).
If you are a student, you can get a student account with your .edu address which gives you more benefits.

Hmm I would have to do a lot of searching/bargaining to find the products that would be cheaper. I just searched for 3 different things I use, for instance I like to keep it cheap and use Suave shampoo/conditioner, I think it's almond shea and butter, it's about 50-75% more expensive on amazon. But that's just one thing, I understand not everything will be cheaper, so I will do some digging and thank you for explaining in detail

True, some things are a lot more expensive on Amazon. I live in an area where the sales tax is like 11.75%. I am happy to be able to just escape that sometimes.

saves a lot of money on diapers this way too.

Several years ago we ordered through PeaPod once or twice. The fruits and vegetables that we received were probably the worst looking ones the store had in stock. Unless I were alone and couldn't otherwise get to the store, I wouldn't use that service again.
