I notice occasionally if it's PLASTERED across someone's chest or something...but I don't much care. I upcycle/make most of my clothing and couldn't care less where people buy their clothing.

I have to agree with XYCopperheadSly here, the only time I notice is if it's literally staring me in the face.
I don't care about brand labels and never have, as long as it looks cute/sexy/etc. then it doesn't matter to me. =)

When I was younger I definitely noticed brand names. But now I rarely notice brand names. I've been married long enough that I'll recognize when I'm item is made by a certain designer, but these aren't broadcasting brand names.

Only in a vintage sense - theatrical costuming had me researching historical clothing trends and their designers. I couldn't identify anything from 1970 onward, and I've no clue what designers are around.

Designer names plastered on clothing reminds me too much of car racing sponsorship.
