I've noticed that a lot of the people I used to know still live in the same exact town they grew up in. Do you live in the same town or a neighboring town?

At the moment I do.

No. I've moved a lot, growing up, and as an adult.
10/18/2012
Nope, I moved out of state from my hometown.
10/18/2012
yes and i hate it! i moved away for several years but came back here after my divorce to kinda regroup and i'm miserable here, was terrible idea to move back, idk what i was thinking

1,500 miles away, although I've lived here long enough to consider this place my "homebase". I can't stand it, but my parents and brother are here and took me back when I split from my husband. Once I get back on my feet with graduation and work, I am leaving for good.
I've had family that never left the fifty-mile radius they were born in. That is scary to me.

Yeah, I do. Though I have no choice in the matter. Can't afford to move/live somewhere else.

I have tried to move away from my home state but I always wind up home. Maybe not in the big city I grew up in, but within a couple of towns of there.

I do

Nope! I moved to the "big" city about 100 miles away. I'm from a small township. We had to move away. Nothing left in the small town except Walmart and Mc. Donald's. I have to go back and visit the family, but that is it. I hate that place. It's so small EVERYONE knows your business.
10/18/2012
Not even close...I've moved often.
10/18/2012
Thank gawd no!
My hometown is so boring and way out in the middle of nowhere!

I lived in two different towns growing up.. but I still live in the one that I grew up in during the second half of my childhood.

I still live in the same town I was born in and grew up in. I live in almost the same neighborhood so to speak as well.
10/18/2012
No,I moved when I was about 15 or 16.

I grew up in Germany and England. Then my Mother decided to torture us by moving us back to her hometown. We are still trying to get out of this place....
10/18/2012
Nope, moved out after HS
10/18/2012
No, I don't.
10/18/2012
Absolutely not. I moved around a lot.
10/18/2012
When I was 18, my parents sent me off to school 2000 miles away with a duffel bag and a one way plane ticket. Only lived at home for one summer since then and now live about 1800 miles away.
10/18/2012
yup - only went away for school and then came back
10/18/2012
same state, 25 miles from where I grew up.
10/18/2012

Close to 3,000 miles away. I love San Diego and could never move away - my kids are native Californians - so we're here to stay.
