We used to go in person, when our daughter was little and then when she would "march" as a girl scout or dance school participant, but now, it is just large crowds, out in the cold (and a lot of drinking later on). We'll pass. Fine view on TV!!!!

There is no real celebration where I live other than green beer. However about 130 miles away there is a HUGE celebration!! This town goes all out and has a street party, parade and bands for the whole weekend.

we dont have one, at least not that I know of. But we do have a big Irish bar that throws a huge party for the week of St. Paddy's day.

Well we haven't gone to one since we left CT, but I know there's one a town or two over.
I'm not sure if our town has their own though, I'd venture a guess that they probably don't.

I think if it wasn't so chilly out, we might go to it; then again, my mother would probably be in too much pain to sit or stand through a whole parade.
