Nope! People always mispronounce my last name even though it's actually very easy to pronounce. It's spelled just like how it's pronounced but no one seems to get it. =/

I like my given name, it is unusual. No one is ever able to spell it correctly, though.

I changed my first name because of issues with it. It wasn't a dramatic change at all, I removed a hyphen (-) and made it easier to pronounce.

My name was Anna-Marie and is now Annemarie. Since childhood, I've gone by Anna, except when I was in trouble. I always got "Anna Maria" or "Anne Marie" and the hyphen caused problems more often than not. I don't know why my parents added that in.

Anyway, I hated my name, but I've come to terms with it. I learned the history of it; it's a mixture of family names. I do hate my middle name and I never use it.

I don't like it, it's too common.

I used to hate it but getting constant compliments have gotten me to start liking it a bit more with age. "Solange" makes you stand out in a crowd, for interviews, etc. I once had a nickname of "Solangea Lingerie" which I liked.

I'm kind of indifferent. BUT a LOT of people mistakenly call me Jennifer.. and that kind of gets on my nerves. I wouldn't mind it once in a while, but it happens a LOT!

I used to hate my first name, but I've gotten used to it. Plus, I shared the same first name as both my mother and my grandmother. They're both gone now, so it's nice to have that connection constantly with me.

What *is* your last name, if you don't mind sharing? I actually love my name! Lol. I like that it's pretty unique, especially my middle name Danae. It's pronounced DUH-NAY, but I've had a few people mistake it for Dana! Yikes! Lol. I haven't ever heard of anybody else with that name besides a famous preacher's (James Dobson, I think?) daughter. My grandmother chose my middle name and my mom chose Kendra, I think. Lol. I like my last name too. Richards is my last name and I like it. I don't know many other Richards' either, but everyone pretends there's no "S" on the end and they call us Richard! Lol. So yes, I love my name!

I like my name, both fore- and surname. They sound unassuming, normal, but are good, strong names. My surname, for example, denotes the lineage of my family tracing all the way back to when we had a family seat in Saxon times. Pretty cool.

I used to hate it because I was in a spanish class with 3 other girls with the same first name (Melissa) but over the years I've started to like it a little more.
The only thing I sort of dislike is that my mother gave me an "M" name for my middle name too so she could call me M&M. xD

I have a common last name with a different spelling and because of the one added letter people butcher the crap out of it. I love it though. I'm not a fan of my first name (which isn't really Sally) and so I've gone by something else my whole life.

I love my first name (Erin) since it's common enough to be recognizable but uncommon enough to catch attention, while being short and cute with a nice R sound in it. I do get a little annoyed on the rare occasion that someone asks if it's a boy's name (like Aaron), but that doesn't happen too much.

My last name is very common, but I don't dislike it. Same for my middle name, though I've always been happy it isn't my first name.

I like that I can shorten my first name (Christine) to Christy, which I shorten to XY, which I love for several reasons that I won't get into.

My middle name is meh.

I don't care for my maiden name but I love my last name now

I love my first name, middle name is meh, and my last name is unique.

People can never pronounce my last name correctly even though it's said exactly like how it looks. If you don't say it as two words, it sounds like someone sneezing. I would hate to change it to my guy's last name if we ever got married. His is just dreadful to spell and say.

Random fact - In Greek mythology, Danae is the name of Perseus' mother.

Actually I don't like my name. I prefer names with significance in the family - my name has no precedent, nor will it have an antecedent - it will be a one and done!
