Today at my job I started to mop the floors and I dont know if its just me but as soon as I start to mop the dead store came alive with people. People would what and watch me mop the area then the area I just mopped then walked all over it. I had to remop about 10 times just one spot because people didnt want to go over it before I mopped. I even wait for people to pass or walk behind me but they just watch. I'm not really mad I'm just baffled at why people would do that if they know its just going to leave more of a mess.
Do you like to walk on the floor after some one has just mopped it?

Sorry to hear that, I'd be mad personally. No respect, geez!

Why on earth would anyone do that, if not out of respect for the person cleaning, then at least out of fear of falling? When I was a kid and I distinctly remember falling on my butt and hurting myself at a mall because I ignored the wet floor signs. I cannot fathom why any grown adult would behave like that.

if i am out in public and someone is mopping I do my best to either walk on the floor thats still dirty to avoid slipping and making the floor dirty (dirty shoes+ wet floor = dirty floor) or be as polite about it as possible if there is no other way through.
when I am home however its a different story, soon as the wood floors are cleaned I like to put on a fresh pair of socks and slide around.

I always walk around to avoid wet spots. Tell your company to buy those 'orange safety cones' from Home Depot - they might get sued if people slide and hurt themselves on those wet floors.

Some people are really inconsiderate about wet floors and for some reason it really irks me. I try to be courteous if someone just spent their time cleaning the floor.

That used to drive me nuts! Especially the people who would comment on it, or apologize, and then do it anyway...when there are other ways around..grrrr.
07/26/2012
I try not to unless it's unavoidable
07/27/2012
I hate wet spots!
07/27/2012
I would be so afraid of slipping.
07/27/2012
I don't like walking on wet floors after someone mops it because I usually slip.
07/27/2012
I try to stay away from the clean floors when they are still wet, or my shoes are muddy.
07/27/2012
If I see a wet sign, I try hard to stay away unless I know I can't avoid it, even then I'm walking on my tip toes.
I personally hate it when people walk on my JUST washed floors because I have to be on my hands and knees (don't have any more pads for hte mop) and I'm in pain after, so I normally bitch when people walk on MY CLEAN floors.

I avoid wet floors I'm afraid to slip and fall. People are just inconsiderate.
07/27/2012
I try to be careful and go around if I can. If not I tip toe over it.

I hate wet floors so do not walk over them if there is another way around.

I don't like getting my feet wet, they are all cold already and it makes them cooler.

I don't like walking on wet stuff.

I don't walk on wet floors cuz I'm a clumsy ass and would probably fall.

Random question seems like my kids like to do the same thing after I mop the floor.
