I so like to stay in, unless going out to dinner or something more simple. If I'm gonna party, I'd rather party at home. Those are my favorite types of parties anyway; at home (or occasionally at a friend's house) with some close friends if anything at all.
Do you like to party on weekends or stay in?

stay in because I always close (at work) so i get home late and dont wanna do anything but relax.

I've never been much for "partying" but I've always enjoyed hanging out with my friends and having a few drinks. I'm such a homebody tho, that for the most part I'd rather spend the night in with my husband. But during the summer is when we tend to go out the most, and it's hanging out with friends.

I'm going to start going to the local BDSM club, so who knows, maybe I'll go out more. But generally, I prefer to stay home and work on things related to my job.

I've never been to a club.

too old stay in

We are major homebodies. We prefer to stay in and snuggle up for a movie, some Netflix, a ball game, or some weekend sex. Going out to party is way too much work. Occasionally a friend will have what I affectionately call "a nerd party" - we play board games, RPGs, watch Sci-Fi stuff... that kind of thing. It's very low key, but I still wouldn't want to do that all the time, and I'm still always glad to get home after.

I actually like partying on weekdays more often than not. There's not so much pressure and I often have days off in the middle of the week.

Usually go out at least on friday and maybe saturday too.

We tend to go have dinner out with some friends at a casual restaurant then either just come home by ourselves or go to the other couples house. Definitely not party at nightclub type people.

Most of the time I choose to stay in on the weekends.

We try to go out dancing at least every other weekend, and indeed take in a movie or do something else fun, TOGETHER, if we don't dance. Theater, concert..whatever. It is the KEY to LONG TERM "happiness". The key to staying happy TOGETHER.

Staying SANE is another reason we too go out. Work is hard all week, unwinding is healthy. No doubt about it. You are VERY correct.

Not if you are still having fun, together, doing all that. I guess since we live in a smaller city, going OUT is less of a hassle. Might feel different in LA or NY.

Going out seems like such a hassle (finding parking, having to drive to and fro, paying for crappy drinks and food, having to yell so your partner can hear what you are saying, etc...you get my drift). Does this mean we are old? less

It depends for me. Sometimes I have a lot of things going on and others I don't. If I go out and party then I do it one good time because I budget for once in awhile.

We usually stay in and mess around. Or go for drives on the backroads and just be goofy like we did when we were younger.

stay in

I hardly ever go out anymore

Contrary to the things I regale here, we're pretty private and prefer to stay in. Our lunch date with another Edenite is the first commitment we've made to hang out with someone else or another couple in almost a year.

i'm a partying girl

Depends on the day and what I'm feeling like!

I got two kids going out is not in our vocabulary. The only place we would be going is to the store to get more diapers, fine by me I can drink and party better at home anyhow.
08/15/2011
We're total home bodies and very rarely go out.
08/15/2011
I'm not a partier to begin with, so I enjoy staying in or doing low-key things: going to the theater, out to dinner, watching movies, used book shopping with friends.
09/12/2011
I prefer to go out, but now that I'm settled down (and away from my girl) I tend to stay in a lot more.
09/13/2011
We're not into parties anymore, so we usually spend the weekend going places. If there's nothing special going on, I'd love to spend the weekend home, be lazy and do nothing.
09/13/2011
Stay in, I'm such a home body..
09/13/2011
Stay in. Social anxiety does that to you. Since I can't tolerate crowds or strangers that basically cuts that option out.
09/13/2011
Stay in...I like cuddling!
