I don't...BUT I was once invited camping with a drool-worthy man who thought it would be romantic, and I definitely liked that idea!

Camping is fun.

I like it, yes.
02/29/2012
Camping isn't my thing because I have insect phobia.

Nope! I'm too girly when it comes to spending the night outside! I'll do outdoors all day long, but will not camp! No power, no shower, bugs and S-P-I-D-E-R-S! Hell nos!

We started in a tent and that was great but now that we have a camper its almost not "Camping". Having a bathroom and a microwave oven does not seem like camping.

Yes, but in a cabin with a bed and electric, plumbing, and heat.
02/29/2012
absolutely! I love anything outdoors.
02/29/2012
I'm not really a camper.
02/29/2012
No. Only went when I was a child and it wasn't my thing.

Nature and I do not get along. I went on a compulsory school camping trip twice, and loathed every second.
I may be persuaded to change my opinion, if a hunky man wanted to take me away for a weekend of outdoor sex, by a secluded lake front, though.

I admit, I'm not a big outdoorsy type, but I do like going out and camping as long as there are tents and sleeping bags involved. It's not something that we do a ton, but I'd like to do a little more of.

I used to when I was younger. My Man and I used to go camping all the time, and when we had our babies, we'd take them with us.

As I've gotten a bit older sleeping on a cold ground, even on a blow up or foam mattress hurts my body (I have fibromyalgia and My Man has arthritis, although he denies it) and we had a nightmare camping trip in the South when our youngest was a toddler. There was supposed to be a "waterfall" near our campsite, it turned out to be a site that was on different levels (great for a toddler) and the "waterfall" was a drainage pipe. I was miserable and there was a "stream" running through the middle of our campsite and I thought the baby was going to fall into it (of course, she was fascinated by the stream) and I whined and worried the entire time. It was the last time I went camping and probably will be the last time ever.
Vacation shouldn't be harder than real every day life. Camping is. I want a warm, soft King Size bed, room service, a spa, good shopping and a fire place in the room, plus a Jacuzzi and lots of nice Zagat rated restaurants nearby is my idea of a good vacation. My Man's idea of a vacation is living in the mud, like an animal and working all day to secure firewood, food and water. Needless to say, we haven't been anywhere in several years....

I do have to say, I have some nice memories of screwing in the woods or in a tent first thing in the morning (unless, of course, your kids are sharing your tent) and we have had some nice vacations in cabins and cottages, which is about as close as I'm going to get to camping now.

Love camping. I feel like it's necessary for my sanity.

Love just getting outdoors away from all the crowded city problems.

love the outdoors

Camping is not my thing.
02/29/2012
I love camping, because every summer I go on several week camping trips with my family. It's fun if you do it right.

Love camping.

My family used to go camping all the time but we really don't anymore. With 2 small kids it is hard to go camping.
02/29/2012
Yes I actually miss it, I used to go with my friend and her family all the time.
02/29/2012
I love it but am unable to do much of it anymore. Maybe this year....

love to camp

I only like the old fashioned kind of camping. I'll bring a phone and extra batteries for the phone for emergencies, but otherwise, No electronics.
02/29/2012
indeed try to go up north to camp every year
02/29/2012
I didn't mind it. Then I didn't like it. I grew up doing it pretty often. Now that I haven't and can't I really want to. My husband refuses says why would he take vacation time to live like the homeless and smell. He lived out in the country for over 10 years! Guess he hated it.
02/29/2012
I've never actually been camping, but I really want to try it. I think it would be a lot of fun.
